Box Select Fails To Select Everything In The Box

Hi All,

Has anyone noticed this as well.
Box select does not select everything inside the box.

This comes into play when I am selecting a bunch of verticies from a converted text object. Blender will simply not select all the verticies. It seems to favor the top verticies of an extruded text object. Blender simply will not select the botom verticies even though I draw a box around them.

You probably have backface culling on…

to get around this either switch to a “wireframe” view

or

in the edit mode 3d header, just after the vertex/edge/face mode buttons is a “box”, uncheck that to turn off bacface culling and allow yourself to select through the mesh…
