Breaking a wall; How can i keep untouched shards deactivated?


I’m doing some rigid body physics involving a shark (active RB, animated mesh) crashing through a wall (active RB, enable deactivation, start deactivated)

My problem is that the entire wall falls down as soon as the shark even nudges the wall.

I would like only the shards that the shark touches to break off, can this be done?
