Kinda cool, this guy made an image that has about 1.09 billion pixels.
Yeah I’d like to load that picture into my Blender background.
Paradox
lol the guy is a nutter LOL. i saw on techtv a guy who was creating a seamless image of his entire city (or at least as much as he could)
he’s been taking photos every few feet etc… and stiching them together and its creating a whole road with buildings on it, but it spans for so long.

… Python script anyone? …
that one big pic!!! (soon in your digital camera)
and in 50 years or so, that will seem tiny!
[look at how far consumer digital cameras have come in the last 10 years!]
ok, maybe not, but I can still dream, can’t I?
actually your not far wrong i dont think camaras will go above 20 mega pixels tho cos …theres no point

there is if you want to use it as a microscope!
lol imagine the blur youd get when taking a photo, you could only use a camera that detailed on a tripod otherwise you will be bluring areas larger than 4 megapixel cameras just with hand shake LOL.
unless they have image stabilisers by then.

unless they have image stabilisers by then.
well, most likely, by then, they won’t need them…
they could have the shutter speed at 1/1,000,000 of a second
