I can confirm this after a week. In my case, uninstalling the UV Highlight addon completely fixed my undo crash issue. Haven’t had the problem since.

No, it is not. selection or changing modes/workspace for the matter shoudln’t count on the undo history, it just eats up steps for important changes; if they were going to implement an undo history that goes to such extend to log EVERY SINGLE THING you do, at least let the users scale up the history to 1000 - 2000 steps
