broken blender!

I accidentally changed my default scene from the cube to a face I was working on so every time i start a new project that face is there.

can anyone help me?

Start a new scene, delete the face, add a cube, press Ctrl-U to save user preferences. Or if you want the exact original scene back, open your .blender folder and delete the .B.Blend file. The next time you start Blender the original file will be back.

Or, now there’s an entry in the “File” menu, that do the same:
“Load Factory Settings”
