Broken Smoke Caches

Hello everyone. I have a problem when trying to cache a smoke simulation with high divisions where the simulation just breaks in the later frames. It seems to only affect the Smoke High Resolution part of the sim. If I uncheck “Show High Resolution,” there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the base simulation.



The thing is, if I just hit play in the viewport with “Show High Resolution” checked, the simulation looks as it should. It breaks when I scrub to a previously cached frame. I also checked the .bphys files themselves and the frames where the simulation starts to break are about half the size of the previous frames.

I think I found the problem. I had the scene file saved in a network drive. When I cached it to the local drive it didn’t break.
