Bubbles in GE

Hi I am trying to create realistic bubbles underwater in the GE I have done some stuff with animated textures but nothing too amazing, any hints or tips for other ideas, or any tutorials?

If you want low-poly, use a simple texture of a bubble, and use an F-Curve (or Python) to scale the bubble up and fade it out.
If you don’t want low-poly, make a uv-sphere and give it a refracting texture (use an environment map and set it to reflect; then do the same thing to scale it and make it disappear).
