Hello everyone!
I have encountered what seems to be a bug in texture painting mode that occurs when using mirror modifiers or if I have different faces of an object share uv space. If I stay on the same “side” while painting on something like this I have no issues. If I go over the mirror axis, or from one face to the other, which share uv space it gets a little bit wierd already, but if I go back a second time over the “seam” then I get a lot of artifacts in the texture. Also a lot of these artifacts dont vanish anymore if I undo the paint stroke (ctrl + z ). its hard to discribe this in words, so I’ll just post some pictures.
Do you guys know any workaround or what I am doing wrong?
Note that in the picture I was just painting one stroke evenly over the whole model. So the result should be a completly light purple model, with no patterns. Everything you see is artifacts!
Ps: I was using Blender 2.71, but I also get this bug in any other build i tried, and was trying to follow this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7ALfRw6I5I
