Bug in toggle cyclic when importing svg?

When I import an SVG created in Illustrator into Blender, it imports the drawing normally.

However, when I ‘toggle cyclic’, it breaks the lines in some places. I’ve already checked in Illustrator, and the vertices are properly connected.

Am I doing something wrong?

It looks more like your drawing in Blender was already closed or cyclic and that your toggle was to open the drawing curve instead.

Adobe Illustrator is prone to creating multiple control points that will sometimes cause the curve to not know how to fill properly in 2d, and either moving the extra point a little will suddenly cause the fill to work or sometimes it is about using the Curve>Clean Up>Decimate Curve operator to eliminate extra control points not needed in the SVG.

Maybe this is the case with yours, too.

That’s what the feature is meant to do. It either breaks a curve, or keeps it continuous. The same thing happens with curves created natively in Blender.

I understand, I want to make an extrude, and when I convert it to mesh the face gets all buggy, do you have any suggestions to make everything clean?

I’d need to see images to understand if you are converting to mesh already before finishing the fill of the curve object.
