Will this work in 2.80?

Hmmm – I’m not sure if you should be sharing these models since they are straight out of Daz|Studio. You may want to check their EULA. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Models from straight out of DAZ do not have genitals.
Having said that, male/female models in the downloads do look like G3 models.
Going to have to check later when I have some time.
The downloads do open in 2.80, so I assume that this is not an ADDON.
Just .blend files

sorry I’m very new to Blender only a month or so so I still don’t understand the answer , what I am getting at is I am trying to create a group of base characters for a potential future game and as these are easily modified and rigged I’m trying to decide if they are useful for my project.

Sorry, I misunderstood, thought the question was about license usage.

I do not see why not, the license allows you to do so, you have the base models to work from and modify, you will have to make the skin textures, UV maps are included.
I’ve never worked in game/game content creation, but I would say your good to go.
Any further questions, you may want to ask in the “Game Engine” section here at BA.

Welcome to blender and good luck on your project.

By the way, Jon Lorz…

I did a tutorial on importing from MakeHuman to Blender with as good rig…

Also, Manuel Bassioni’s Lab is a great tool for creating human models with very good joint deformations.
