After following the instructions on the wiki.blender page on how to build and patch, at first, I didn’t install CUDA and proceeded to getting everything needed then compiled and built just to see if it works. Then I installed CUDA, updated blender, added the Adaptive Sampling patch and built it again.
Everything worked but the CUDA. It would say “No compatible GPUs found for pathtracing. Cycles will render on CPU” under Preferences > System > CUDA
Do I need to run “svn checkout” for the precompiled libaries again after installing CUDA or is it not necessary ?
If so, do I need to run the whole process again or I can skip a few steps before building ?
ps: asking before trying because it takes a decade on my pc & net
