Buildings*updated

I know this is a cross post, sorry!, but I’m not sure if anyone ever looks in Python and Plugins. Here is my first decent building library (in the form of a basic block) made with city block generator. C&C?

cool! try to make a whole scene from it! i think the brick texture is a bit to big

arg I should have caught that. but, yeah, you can set it up, so it uses another mesh for coordinates, just like dupliverts, so setting up a scene is no sweat once you have all of the elements.

yo, do you have aim? id like you to help me with UV mapping, id hate to bother you, but i just cant seem to get it, sorry

EDIT>> wut type of lighting did u use? i think u should set up something better if u decide to do a scene (u prolly knew it though)

Actually I am in the process of writing a tutorial on it called “UV Mapping Simplified”, and I am almost done, so hold your horses.

awesome!! i cant wait! got an eta?

what’s an eta?

lol, Estimated Time of Arrival, sorry, lol

Oh,…a week or two would be my best guess.

cool, cant wait

Nice building i really like them. They look kind of fantasy like. Do you plan on making an more realistic office/tower blocks?

Thanks, I did make a few regular type building, but I think I kind of like these fantasy type ones. I just did up a landscape in terragen, and I think I’ll add some landspeeder type craft, and maybe a touch of precipitation as well.

Here’s some earth for my buildings to sit on. I churned out this UV map in just a few minutes,…check in general to see how.
