Bullet casings falling

I’m trying to make a gattling gun on a helicopter and I was wondering how I would go about making the bullet casings be created and tumble to the ground.

Basicly, my question is how to create an object for the physics engine at a steady rate.

use an ‘add object’ actuator.

However, if you are baking the physics to IPOs and rendering the bullets with the Blender Internal renderer, the above method won’t work. Because blender can’t create objects on the fly when not in game mode. In that case, you’ll have to setup a ‘box’ of shells and leave a hole so that they will fall out at a relative constant rate.
