bump painting ( cycles render)

Is it possible to do Bump texture layer painting with cycles and blender 2.78 ?

I meant bump painting and save the image like I use to do with texture layer paint blender internal GLSL.

As long as you select the texture node you want to paint on in the node editor and switch to texture paint it should work with this setup.

also set the shading mode to material to see the results in realtime.

Thanks but I was just missing the texture paint layer manager.
