Yesterday, I burned out my T.V. set.
I left a lighted candle on top of it
with only a little paper to protect the plastic carcass
I came back from my night-smoke at the garage
on my girlfriend yelling my name out.
We threw some water on it
and it got ruined.
Perhaps for good.
Today, I find myself out of place, rooted till death onto the mattress.
I suppose that somehow I kinda hope the screen goes back on
so that I can lift up my head on the pillow, scratch my belly,
and take my ever-day-fit-in dosis on the local channel’s T.V. show.
It wouldn’t also dazzle me feeling idle to open the closet’s door
and dust out that pile of exhiled books that had so long yelled out for extradition.
But I don’t know.
An eager need to smash the agonising screen one last time
against the wall haunts me,
and maybe I need to do it.
Perhaps it’s time to clean up the closet, again.
But -despite the expenses- I think I’ll keep
this wired-melted monster under my desk.
Just in case I fly too high
and forget that I sometimes need
to be part of some lame, stupid T.V. show.
Varg Black, when someone has a point to prove and when they are desperate to prove that point… against all odds, then it doesn’t really matter whether it’s your TV, your, PC, your poem or your toes.
ok i learned i shouldn’t post stupid poems or any type of reases that i find interesting, and once again i did not write this poem this guy a. stevenson is the writer, i hot this poem in an literature class
I didn’t have a PC when I went without my TV. If it was a PC, I would probably find something else to do with my time, there’s always something I can do with my time.
hey! funny cat, should have posted him on the cat topic, it’s great
i’m surprised i got so many replies for this, even if sme didn’t have anything to do with what i copied
