I’m looking for an alternative for the Butterworth filter in Maya and Motionbuilder but in Blender, I think this would be a great addition to Blender and really help a lot of people with motion capture workflows. Anyone that would be interested in making an addon for this? I would be willing to pledge money if there is a developer out there interested in making an addon

At the risk of sounding extremely stupid - isn’t this something fairly easy to implement?
There is a test build for it and will be added in I hope by 3.6
