BUWM

why is it that you americans insist on calling anything u do WORLD lol u may be big but your not that big. u got my hopes up i thaught cool mabie i could go to one and blam i discover its in some place in the US i was severely peeved i mean ok if i was oldewr a rare enough chance as it is but im 16 chances of me getting there are precisely with no deviation…0.000 lol y not just call it USBUM lol so people dont get confused :stuck_out_tongue:

why if it’s a world user meeting does it have to be in europe? putting it in the states has some advantages, like mass. there is wayyyy more people in the states so probably wayyyy more blender users. nobody is stopping anyone from hosting a meeting in europe, anyway. silly!!!

p.s. just because it says “world” doesn’t mean it’s accessible to everyone in the world. look at the world fair, or something. it is just open for everyone in the world.

i mean like if its in the staes call it the statees like the dutch one so everyone knows where it is as opposed to something as widespread as world…

[I came, I saw, I… got sent home by mommy]

Oh man, that was cute, really got a laugh![/quote]

You’re right in theory. However, if you’re going to be specific like that, you should call it the BUMM (Blender User Minnesota Meeting), because people in other states might not be able to come.

In other words… uh… never mind, I have no other words.

There is not way more people in the states though,

Actually for the name I asked people on IRC what it should be
called. So if you want to whine feel free but I don’t think it was an
american that picked the name

/me raises his hand

That was me, and, like SirDude said, I’m not even american, I’m canadian… :stuck_out_tongue:

But then it could be mistaken with the BUMM (Blender User Machachuset  Meeting)
