ok…i was using flash and poser, but blender seems to have a better work flow for me…so one of the things i was trying to do was to export my Armatures out of blender, and into poser, which (sadly enough) is not yet doable. so now it’s back to blender…yay! …ummm anywho, i just recently made new (and better) models than the last ones, but don’t feel like building the armatures ALL over again, which brings to this question:“how do i export my armatures out of ONE .blend file and import them into a different .blend file?”
Do a search for the Append command
Quickstart -
-
Open the file with the model/mesh
-
File/Append - find the file with the armature
-
navigate to the the Object section
-
select the armature, click Load library, armature will be appended to the current file.
