C.R.A.F.T. 2 demo

I’ve been working on this little game for the past two or three weeks now and I think I have enough done to show a small part of what I have so far.
I started using Blender 2.5 for this one.
The graphics in this version are pretty much identical to the first game, but I made a lot of improvements to the game, including a map, collision warnings, shields and health power-ups and more.
If you slide against the ground too fast, you lose health, but if you crash too hard, you explode.

This demo is for Blender version 2.5. It has the first 3 levels (one is just the intro).

Here’s a little update on the progress of this game…
Actually I was already pretty far when I posted the demo. I had about 8 levels done. Now I’ve got about 12.
The levels in the demo are also quite boring compared to the later levels…
I’ve been trying a couple of different things. I added a bunch of obstacles and traps:

Laser turrets…

Lightning traps…

Force fields that push you away or pull you violently towards the center…

It shouldn’t be too long before I complete this game. There are still a few more things I want to do.

The ship is really hard to control
but the game looks very nice so far!

Yeah, it takes practice. I think it’s a little easier to use the mouse.

I’ve been having some problems with some sounds causing the game to crash, so there won’t be as much sound in the game as I would like to have added.
I’m done with making levels (there are 14), and I will post the finished game soon (possibly today, I haven’t decided). I want to still go over everything and make sure it’s ready, but whatever the result is, I intend to be done before the end of this week.

In the meantime, I made a gameplay video of the 8th and 9th levels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7L29X3mpxA
