I’ve been working on this little game for the past two or three weeks now and I think I have enough done to show a small part of what I have so far.
I started using Blender 2.5 for this one.
The graphics in this version are pretty much identical to the first game, but I made a lot of improvements to the game, including a map, collision warnings, shields and health power-ups and more.
If you slide against the ground too fast, you lose health, but if you crash too hard, you explode.
Here’s a little update on the progress of this game…
Actually I was already pretty far when I posted the demo. I had about 8 levels done. Now I’ve got about 12.
The levels in the demo are also quite boring compared to the later levels…
I’ve been trying a couple of different things. I added a bunch of obstacles and traps:
I’ve been having some problems with some sounds causing the game to crash, so there won’t be as much sound in the game as I would like to have added.
I’m done with making levels (there are 14), and I will post the finished game soon (possibly today, I haven’t decided). I want to still go over everything and make sure it’s ready, but whatever the result is, I intend to be done before the end of this week.
