I’m doing a digital reconstruction of a historical site. Part of this involves reconstructing earthen vessels found at the site. Also, one of the main goals of this reconstruction is to create a model that is accurate enough for specialists to derive useful measurements, such as the volume of said earthen vessels.
Other the writing a script, can y’all think of a way to calculate the interior volume of such a mesh? Even if it’s in Blender units, that’s cool, I can do the conversion pretty easy. I just can’t think of a good way to calculate that. The fluid sim keeps coming to mind (filling the mesh with water), but that’s probably a bad direction I fi model the interior, can I calculate the volume of that?
Thanks guys,
