Call for Content Blenderart #11

It’s time again to start thinking about articles, tutorials and images for Issue # 11 of Blenderart Magazine.

In this issue we are focusing on ‘Mechanical’.
We are looking for anything mechanical, bad ass robo, heavy duty machinery and or tanks.

We are looking for tutorials, “making of” articles, and projects of interest that focus on Mechanical modeling.

Also wanted, great shaders, materials and node setups for great looking mechanical/metal materials as well as node compositing layouts and tips.

Dreamsgate, that’s an interesting subject – mechanical. I look forward to learning some of the techniques Blender experts have to offer. There’s a recent related thread about this topic.

yep I am on it

sounds great! I’m in

:DVery cool. I would like to see a lot of articles etc. submitted for this issue. This is a very popular topic and I know a great number of community members actively produce Mechanical art.

So let’s get them all written up.

Look at this electric drill modeled and rendered in Blender. It’s a blender!

If the Theme is “Mechanical”, the should probably mention the 608 Bearing Tutorial. It’s very good.

Just sent my submission. Hope it gets in!!!

It will definitely be in.

ive just submitted some images for the gallery, not sure if i could teach anyone anything.
i find it hard to write things like that.

i could send some .blend files in of my models though, if anyone would be interested.

blend files are always welcome. Most of us love to poke around in other artist’s blend files and discover all their fascinating little secrets.
