Hello everyone,
I know this model has been done to death. This is my first try at car modeling, and I wanted to use a car that has a lot of reference material.
I don’t know how to take a screenshot of a window in blender 2.54, so I am posting a render instead.
I posted this in the car modeling thread, but that thread has been closed.
Sigh, here we go again…
Lol jk, um that is a good start mate!
I see some deformations in the bumper, but i am sure you will get to fix those later on. Are those triangles i see?(sometimes quads looks like triangles if their vertices are placed in a weird position)
Keep at it!
Looks gud …and yup i am totally agree with Mr. DDD. In the beginning you do face such kind of problem while working on curvical side of the car…
but keep it up with ur good wrks things will improve later…
Yes, they are all quads and not triangles. For some reason the render is showing triangles. I will add on more to the car hoepfully tonight and post the updates.
Edit: Do you guys know how to take a screenshot of the current blender window? Rather then posting renders all the time.
i have windows 7 so it comes with a screenshot taking tool but have you tryed using print screen (Prt scr) then pasting the pic into paint or photoshop then saving it.
look on the 3dview menu there is a little icon that shows a camera next to a clapper board press that and hey presto you have a render of your 3dview this works only if you graphics chip is not one of those cheap motherboard affairs.
Nice start on the Camaro. What OS are you using? Each one has a different way to take screenshots.
On the triangles, you might want to take a screenshot of the mesh with the edges turned on so we can see the topography of the fender. That will help show what’s going on.
