Camera flips when starting game engine

Hello everyone,
I’m new to the Blender Game Engine, i’ve only used the blender renderer and cycles. My problem is that my camera flips whenever i start the game engine, but it is fine when i’m just in 3D view. also, it only flips if it is parented to my “body” cube. I parented it to my landscape, and it didn’t flip, but when i parented it to another cube, it still flipped. I’m pretty sure the landscape itself isn’t flipping, and it doesn’t look like anything flips unless i’m in the camera view. sorry if this is a really simple problem but i played around for awhile and i couldn’t fix it


If you start the embedded player without looking through the camera, the bge creates a new camera for you. This is that you keep the look you got from 3D preview window.

I guess you mirrored the camera or one of it’s parents.
Make sure the scale of all parents is (1.0, 1.0, 1.0).
