Camera perspective

I used the default camera settings and the perspective is pretty harsh (notice how angled the columns appear to be). Is there a way to change the camera to reduce/eliminate the amount of perspective being used?

you can change the lens size by selecting the camera and going to the Edit Buttons window (F9)

Thanks, I thought I had tried that but I guessed I hadn’t.

Just to add some info I find usefull :

Blender’s setting of the camera focal length is refering to the scale in use in 35mm cameras, the ones everybody is most used to.

In that case 35mm is slightly on the wide angle side of things which exagerates perspective ; 50 mm is closest to human eyesight ; anything longer is telephoto which make perspective less noticeable.

Also, with any camera, takes that arent level will make vertical elements that are really parallel seem convergent.

48.25 is the human’s view field angle (that I always use in my renderings).
