Camera problem

It used to be, when I selected the camera, then typed num0 or ctrlnum0, I would get the camera’s view (the dashed lines showing the camera’s view) centered in the window. I could zoom in or out in a straight line. Now, for some reason, when I do the same thing, the camera view is skewed way off to the right. If I zoom out, the camera’ view rotates off right, completely off screen. Zooming in rotates it back into view, but so close, only small details in the scene can be seen. I can’t get a complete view of what the camera is seeing. I don’t recall changing anything. Does anyone know how to reset, so it’s centered again. I’ve tried deleting the camera entirely, then added a new one, but the new one does it too.

Try framing your model how you like in a 3d perspective view, then hit Ctrl+Alt+Numpad-0. This should set your camera to that position. Ive had that same issue before, but not sure what causes it.

This might not be the problem, but try hovering the cursor over the 3D pane, hitting Alt-Space, and selecting “Local”

Seabee, yes, your solution worked. Much thanks to you both! I guess I’m back in business.
