Camera to track an Empty... problem

I’m trying to use the “jitter camera” trick to get Depth of Field in an image, but I’m experiencing a strange problem. When I set the Camera to Track an Empty, instead of the Camera pointing AT the Empty, it seems to point about 70 degrees to the right of the empty. ??

Has anyone experienced this? Is it some setting I’m missing or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Either use a Track To constraint instead of the old Ctrl-T way, or select the camera and clear the rotation (Alt-R).
