Whenever i need to zoom in close to a mesh to edit vertices once i zoom enough it starts not zooming and i can`t get close enough to work with the vertices in question

Patience again. You have to wait because this is a forum. If you want instant answers, try instant messaging. j/k. But please do have patience. If you are in camera view, it wont let you zoom in very far. Maybe it has something to do with perspective view because the same thing happens when you press 5 in other views.
