Camera View and User View HELP

Hi, I am too frustrated right this second to sit and read through all the amazingly useful preposts. I am learning Blender and have a city in the making.

First issue… My models only show all objects in Camera View, in User view either Local or Global only current selected object is visible.

This makes it incredibly difficult to add my next building, lamps, and extra cameras to continue my project.

Help please awesome gurus of Blender

Your scene is way… waaaayyyyy… too big (or you have an object whose location is way off the screen). You need to scale down your scene or move some of the buildings / objects closer to the centre. That’s why you can only see it in local view. When pressing the ‘home’ button, blender zooms out to the extents of the scene and the grid will also vanish.

Try to locate the object that is seperated too far from the others and move it closer. Select an object in the outliner and look at it’s coords in the tool window.

I actually looked at the file… the problem is with ‘sphere’ and ‘plane’ object. Delete them or move them closer to the centre.
