All the tutorials I have seen concerning creating an animation from a game engine session advise to:
- in game render mode, record animation
- switch back to Blender Render, then render the animation recorded above
Rather than switch back to Blender Render, is it possible to render the recorded animation using the Game Engine renderer, this would be ultra fast compared to rendering the animation with Blender Render, of course there would be no ray-tracing, shadows etc… which is fine with me it would be a way of getting a very fast animation “rough draft”.
The only alternative I can think of is simply run the animation with game engine render and record it to a video file using a screen video capture program.
