Can blender simulate rigid body in Blender Render Engine?

I want to simulate some rigid objects bouncing together. But I found that there is no “rigid body” option in the “Physics” panel, only “soft body”. So how do I simulate rigid body in Blender Render?

I know in the “Physics” panel of “Blender Game”, there is an option called rigid body in “physics type”. I’m wondering if other static engines like “Blender Render” or Yafaray can do this too.

you can record animation in blender game render engine and to use it anywhere

I just don’t get it why this kind of physics simulation has to be done in a game engine. Even cloth and soft-body simulations can be done in Blend Render.
