Can edges be rednered through transparent materials?

The edges aren’t rendered through a transparent material (see picture). Can this be done or is it default? What seeting am I missing?

I’m using RayTracing since z-transparency will not render edges on the transparent object. Thanks for any help!


If you are talking about the EDGE render system in Blender, you may be right, that is a limited system. But there is a new system in Blender 2.56 called “Freestyle” that is a more robust “Toon” style renderer that you may want to check out.
