Can Floor Constraint not be used with MakeWalk bones?

I’m trying to use Floor Constraint with a MakeWalk armature, but it doesn’t seem to work; i.e. ‘Floor’ stays red (non-functional).

So does anybody know if the constraint works with MakeWalk armatures?
