Can i add rigid body to the part of the mesh which is parented to the bone?

Hi. I have a character which carring a bag and i want him to drop this bag at certain frame. But this bag parented to the bone (so its not a child constrained). Now i tried to add rigid body to this bag and its sort of works but not completely - bag is no longer following the character but its not falling on the ground either. How can i do that?

Or the only way is to use child of constrain?

Use a Child Of constraint - then when the bag is dropped, set the influence value of the constraint to 0, it should be set to 1 up until the time it is dropped - keyframe these values. I would make the bag a separate mesh to the character, it makes for an easier life!

Ok. Thanks. As i expected - child of constrain is only solution.

But how to be here. Here is my character you can see on the screenshot and he needs to sit so i want chair to move back slightly once my character touches it by the leg.

I know i can animate the chair but i want to try rigid body for better effect

Sorry, but Rigid Body is outside my knowledge base!

Someone else needs to help here please.

Cheers, Clock.

Ok, thanks anyway. I waiting for others comments

So anybody knows or not how rig can interact with that rigid body chair?
