I am no artist and I need a deer. It’s not for pay, but I need it for a short animation scene that I’m working on. The deer should be skinned but if not, I can do that. And the artist will get full credit for the deer’s modeling.

The deer can be a buck, doe or fawn but keep in mind that it is a predatory scene so the deer will not survive.

Only the portion you see has been finished off, he even needs legs, but if you can be patient, I’d pass him on. Was planning on putting it on Blendswap sometime anyway. Not rigged, but I would make sure it will animate well.
A red deer, btw, European species, if that makes a diff.

I tried making one but mine looks like a cross between a pregnant cow, horse and dog. O.o lol
And it looks more like a plush toy than an actual animal. <sigh>

ya the deer is molding and the texturing is done but I am having trouble with the rigging

Chipmasque, I love your deer but it’s a bit heavy on the render. I changed the hair particles to strand render and b-spline but that didn’t seem to help much and somehow, I lost some of the quality. (not sure if it’s because of the two settings or not)
