Can I change the 3D Cursor appearance?

I’ve been following some tutorials for Blender 2.5x, and they all show the 3D cursor as such:

However, my 3D cursor looks like this:

Is there a way to change this? (I did a search here and on google and failed to find anything)

I don’t think you can change it, but it should look like the first one.

My first guess would be a graphics display problem. What is your operating system, graphics card and driver? Maybe someone who knows can diagnose it.

Ah. I thought maybe that was it … Im using Ubuntu 10.10 with ATI Radeon HD 2450, with the open source drivers. It’s no big deal though, since everything else works just fine; I just like the aesthetic of the white/red theme :slight_smile:

change your system Cursor in OS like vista and that’s it !
