Can I change the wire colour of a selection?

Hi
Is it possible to change the screen wire colour of selected objects from pink to any other colour?
I need to use the Render in View button BUT change the selected object colour to white.

Possible?
Help would be appreciated

In short yes. You can not do it in Blender, but you could take the rendered image from screen into PS or GIMP and change the colour.

You can apply a material to the object and pick any color you like, then set the mode to ‘wire’. This will only render as wire and not show in the 3D window as such.
