I’ve been crazy about baking a large simulation for dozens of times, and I’ve got the perfect bake right now.
The problem is, I’ve got so much bake cache files which is more than 100 GB. I’d like to delete old bake files, but I’m not sure whether I can do that or not.
If you don’t need the old simulations anymore or you are fine with rebaking them if you need to use them again, then go ahead and delete those bake files.
For the blend files that do use baked simulations that you have deleted, nothing bad should happen. All you will see is that the simulations no longer are baked and you will have to simulate it again if you needed it.
