I’m sure this must be possible and I apologise if it’s been covered before ( I did search!)
I have imported a .obj. Now I find that my ‘edit’ mode is not availabe.
Any help greatly appreciated!

On the simple person tutorial that I did bout 3 weeks ago I know you can move around and scale the linked file but other than that I didn’t try anything. My guess would be that since it is linked you would not be able to do this.
As a fix you can use multiple layers to help create many objects for 1 scene and then pull them all together by shift clicking all the layers.
Solved this but not quite sure how! I don’t think I had it selected correctly in the first place.
