Hey guys, I’m more of a programmer than a modeler so my question may sound stupid.
But I have a 3d model that I want to sample out and use for testing purposes in unity but its not humanoid rigged. However, its fully rigged everywhere except the head. So you’d see every bone is rigged on the skeleton except the head. I was wondering if it was possible for me to pop the model in blender and add the head in so I can make it humanoid in unity. If so, where can I get started
Hmmm difficult one to answer here, I do not know what format the model is in, I do not know how it was rigged, etc. etc. Basically I need more information. If you have a file that I could import into Blender, it might help me help you. Adding a head bone to an existing rig is pretty easy to do, but you need to tell us what format the model is and how it was rigged. One option would be to re-rig it in Blender, that entails building an armature and then doing a vertex assignment, but I am guessing as I don’t have anything to go on…
