Can I swipe an intersection plane through a model?
I would like to see intersections at specific points of the model, without having to calculate boolean differences.
Thank you Ricky,
wow, that looks complicated.
I found out that View/Persp/Ortho gives me a quick possibility to walk through the model a bit too.
can you elaborate
not following you here
you cannot really see a cross section in the viewport as I remember
found another set up but it is not as nice as that one !
there is an indirect way to do it in viewport
using Alt-B and render as Opengl I think
another way could be to use the bisect tool which can allow to fill in the faces at the cross section
so depends what you want to do

In the attached image you see I can “walk through” Suzanne, you see the eyes to the left and the ear in the center of the last screenshot, seen from inside the head. And thats basically what I wanted to achieve by “swiping an intersection plane” through a model.

are you hiding the verts ?
might be another way but this is more manually done
unless your are doing something else !
going from ortho to perspect wont do that !
