Can properties like diffuse, specular, texture offset, texture size, etc be animated?

And if so what’s the proper work flow for animating properties such as a material’s diffuse, specular, or any other arbitrary property in the game engine?

similar to all other actions:

Set keyframes for the material action (as you would do in Blender) .
Then play it with an action actuator.

How do I apply an alpha map in the game engine? It does not seem to work for me…

Does this work when running in GLSL mode?

Edit: Found out it doesn’t.

Check the Fading and Transparency for all Shading modes.
It animates the transparency. You can do the same thing for other parameters. Not all of them might work.
