I recently bought an object that I wanted to import into blender as I don’t have enough time to learn how to rig and animate an object for my project, but the artist didn’t mention that he only included a 3DS Max file. Now I want the animation to be available to me in Blender so that I can add it to my motion tracked plane, but I’m unable to use the trial version of 3Ds Max due to it not wanting to self-extract in Parallels on Mac (I don’t own a windows pc).
I can share the file, but I’m not sure if I should make it public as it’s something I bought…
Nah, it won’t…so I am afraid you will need someone with 3dmax to save out the file with animation…I can’t help there as I dumped 3dmax and everything else from Autodesk a few years ago…
It’s solved, the artist did it for me, which is for the best cause I didn’t want to share his model online as it might make it publicly available which I don’t want to risk …
