Can Someone help me find a good reference?

So I have been trying to make a chibi anime character for a while now but i can’t seem to find any good ones for a male chibi anime base. This picture is the ideal body type I am looking for. you might be thinking that this is easy to do but i really suck at modeling with out a reference.

If can help that would be amazing pls anything would be fine at this point.

@Kwames

Here’s my solution for you:

Download and install this add-on:
http://www.manuelbastioni.com/download.php
It can make anime characters.

Use the add-on to initiate an anime model
e.g. modern shojo male

BEFORE going into edit mode:
Use the add-on to adjust the character as close as you can to chibi proportions.
e.g.
bigger head size
shorter neck, shorter limbs
thicker lower legs, bigger forarms, hands
Play with the eye sizes, eyelids, anything else.

Finalize it using the add-on BEFORE going into edit mode
(Otherwise, shapekeys for facial expressions, and other things, can go wrong, or reset whenever you change something).
P.S. Manuel’s add-on works in Object Mode only.

Edit the vertices.
E.g.
- shape the lower legs and ankles to give it the wide-feet look. (Though I dunno what to do with the toes. Shoes? I’m not good at modelling)
- shape the fingers and hands to give it that squared look.
Maybe you can do better than me.

And then either:

  1. use what you made.
(Manuel’s license is CC-BY 4.0, so I think that means do whatever you want, as long as you give Manuel credit. But read the website faq and the license just to make sure).
  2. Or use it as your reference and make one from scratch.

See attachments.

This was fun!

Hope this helps.

This model was made using Manuel Bastioni Lab v1.4 add-on for Blender.
