I’d like to make a vortex that includes animating (rotating …) the mapping of a texture upon the vortex object. Spinning the texture, in other words, instead of spinning the object itself. Can('t) that be done?
The rotation values of a texture’s mapping can be keyframed, sure. Exactly how and where one does this depends of course on which render engine you’re using.
I’m using BI.
And … :o … uhhh, nevermind. Animating the rotation or maybe using the UV Warp modifier should do nicely.
