Can you skew in Blender?

Skew, not screw. Or alternatively it could be nice to align all selected points to a plane which kind of doesn’t work with align to plane if selected vertices are not in the same plane with each other.

Shear. Snap vertices to plane.

Shift + Ctrl + Alt + S Then select an axis, either X or Y if it doesn’t do anything by default. Happy Blending.

Thats Shear, and its view dependant, default is horizontal shear, so front view its X, side view its Y and so on.

KZ keys, select some edge and define Transform orientation, extrude. Oh, delete a bit ater yoy Knife cut…
Extrude Along Curve addon: have Path, have Profile, done.

Thanks, this works.

Found this topic when searching Google, here’s another method for any passersby that allows you to skew the object without having to alter it in edit mode. Basically, you use a Lattice Modifier and then SHIFT+CTRL+ALT+S (“Shear”) the lattice in edit mode, thereby preserving the original geometry of the original object in edit mode:

Peace and God bless! :v:
