Can you use a 3 button mouse in blender that has a scroll wheel in the middle?

yes you can.
infact that is the preferred type of mouse interface.

You pretty much HAVE to have a 3 button mouse. You can use a 3 button mouse in any program. You joust might not get support for the scroll wheel. I use a 5 button mouse and I just don’t use the estra buttons when not needed.

you can use a 2-button mouse, but it’s a pain in the butt.
to zoom you have to holt Ctrl+Lmb+Rmb and them move the mouse orward and back, and soforth

I have an eight button mouse, but I only use four buttons for blender.
