I used instancing to enable the mass geometry. Principled shaders used for the candle wax with SSS. 1000 samples 40 mins to render, then downscaled slightly in photoshop and a bit of compositing with it as well. i think it looks ok, but looking at it now it could do with more plain ground at the bottom to give it more negative space? Feel free to bash it or critique, im far from a good artist yet.
I would eliminate the streak lens flares and find a different camera angle.
Try locating the camera at the front-right hand corner pointing toward the back-left of the field of candles with some DOF.
Maybe a background image would help too.
Just throwing out some ideas.
