cannot deactivate linked selection limited by seams

Hello everyone. I have a small problem. I don’t know if it is a new feature or I never noticed it before, but now when I want to select linked meshes in edit mode pressing L only the part limited by the UV seams is selected. This is a really nice feature but is not what I need now and I cannot deactivate it. On the tool shelf I can see a Select linked menu with the option limited by seams selected. I cannot deactivate that option… the clicking is not possible.

How can I solve this?

Change to vertex or edge selection mode

you are right! However sometimes in edge or vertex mode I have a strange behaviuor… Pressing L it just select vertex and edges, without selecting faces. It looks like it duplicates the firsts… That’s odd… This evening I will have to experiment better.
