okay… im getting REALLY pissed. i mean REALLY.
i opened my 2.3, and i COULD NOT FIND MY TOOLBAR THINGY THAT CHANGES LAYERS. ive got all the things that change from render options, mat. options, but theres no way to change layers, when i toggle PET, i cant see the options and it is really pissing me off. i uninstalled 2.3, and reinstalled it. it STILL doesnt work. im really agitated, PLEASE help.
Right click on the border between two screen sections and click Add Header.

I remember vividly when I used to have moments like this. 
Yeah, I used add header to add headers to top views to get background images on them… works like a charm… yep
I had the same problem, but the most annoying thing for me was when I found out how it’s done. Very logical and therefore very embarassing.
