Can't add a second material

everything was working and I had just one section to finish on a tutorial. when I reopened file this is what happened. I have tried to reinstall and are drivers up to date.

my card is an ATI radeon HD 5570

Works in 2.80

My laptop also has the same problem with an ATI Radeon R2… So it’s not exclusive to NVIDIA cards.

Solved problem by installing new drivers from web site
